For 25 years, I've sat across the table from people at the biggest financial moments of their lives - buying a first home, refinancing through a hard year, planning for what comes next, and what I've learned is that a mortgage is never really about the numbers. It's about confidence, security, and peace of mind.
As a Mortgage Broker, I help Canadians make clear, confident decisions about their largest financial commitments, and as President and Chair of CMBA Ontario, a member of the FSRA Stakeholder Committee, and Chair of the Mortgage Awards of Excellence, I also work to make the industry itself more transparent and consumer-focused, including helping create and host the inaugural Altitude Leadership Summit, leading events through CMBA Ontario that rallied the industry to collectively raise and donate $100,000 to Sick Kids, meeting with MPs at Queen's Park and Parliament Hill to advocate for the people our industry serves. I've shared that perspective in the Financial Post and on podcasts.
I've been honoured to be named a CMP Woman of Influence five times, but the recognition I value most is a client who finally feels in control of their finances. After nearly a decade building and running my own brokerage, Mortgage District, I made a deliberate choice in 2026 to sell the business and join A Better Way Mortgage Group so I could focus on the work that matters most to me - helping people, especially women and the next generation, build a healthier relationship with money.
That's also why I wrote a book (coming soon!), a financial literacy book for teenagers and youth, because the confidence a first-time buyer wishes they'd had is so much easier to build early. I believe financial wellbeing is real wellbeing, and that's the thread running through everything I do, so whether you're navigating a mortgage decision or just want to feel steadier about your money, let's talk.
